Mississippi High School Basketball - Noxubee County nudges West Lowndes
January 7, 2023: Macon, MS 39341 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) basketball squad nipped the visiting West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS), by a margin of 60-59.
The Tigers (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Nettleton (Nettleton, MS). The Tigers go into the 3A Region 4 outing with a 16-2 record. In their last outing, Nettleton got by Saltillo (Saltillo, MS), 67-58, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton for a 1A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, January 10. West Lowndes will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 60-55 non-league win over East Union (Blue Springs, MS). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.
