Maine High School Basketball - St. Dominic trounces Pine Tree Academy
January 7, 2023: Freeport, ME 04032 The St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) basketball crushed the host Pine Tree Academy Breakers (Freeport, ME), 68-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Saints (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Seacoast Christian (South Berwick, ME). The Guardians go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record.
The Breakers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Valley for a D South test on Monday, January 9. Pine Tree Academy will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 58-50 non-league win over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-3.
