Montana High School Basketball - Ronan nips St. Ignatius
January 7, 2023: St. Ignatius, MT 59865 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ronan Chiefs (Ronan, MT) and the host St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT), saw Ronan's basketball squad hold off St. Ignatius by a tally of 67-61.
With the victory, Ronan improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Frenchtown (Frenchtown, MT) to play the Broncs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Broncs come into the challenge with a record of 13-1.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks (Thompson Falls, MT) in a B District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. St. Ignatius will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Blue Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 43-41 league loss to Lincoln County (Eureka, MT).
