Ohio High School Basketball - St. John's thwarts Shawnee
January 7, 2023: Delphos, OH 45833 The St. John's Bluejays (Delphos, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH), 48-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bluejays (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Parkway (Rockford, OH). The Panthers go into the Midwest test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Parkway went down by Versailles (Versailles, OH), 67-50, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Wapakoneta for a Western Buckeye test on Friday, January 13. Shawnee will encounter a Redskins squad coming off a 46-44 league win over Van Wert (Van Wert, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 4-7.
