California High School Basketball - Berkeley overwhelmed by Dougherty Valley
January 7, 2023: San Ramon, CA 94582 The Dougherty Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Berkeley Yellowjackets to 48 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Ramon Valley for a bout on Tuesday, January 10. Dougherty Valley will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 57-46 non-league win over Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 14-4.
Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Berkeley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA).
