California High School Basketball - Pittsburg knocked off by Rodriguez
January 7, 2023: Pittsburg, CA 94565 The Rodriguez Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Pittsburg Pirates to 47 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Inderkum for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Rodriguez will meet a Tigers team coming off a 95-35 league win over River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
The Pirates (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Lions enter the contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Liberty was defeated by San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA), 52-48, in a non-league contest.
