Florida High School Basketball - Rutherford nudges South Walton
January 7, 2023: Panama City, FL 32401 Rutherford Rams (Panama City, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting South Walton Seahawks (Santa Rosa Beach, FL), 34-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Rutherford upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rams host Niceville (Niceville, FL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-4.
Next up, the Seahawks clash with the Bay Tornadoes (Panama City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. South Walton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 39-28 non-league loss to South Walton (Santa Rosa Beach, FL).
