Ohio High School Basketball - Turpin holds off Archbishop McNicholas
January 7, 2023: Cincinnati, OH 45244 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Turpin Spartans (Cincinnati, OH) and the visiting Archbishop McNicholas Rockets (Cincinnati, OH), saw Turpin's basketball squad hold off Archbishop McNicholas by a tally of 45-38.
With the victory, Turpin improves its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Walnut Hills (Cincinnati, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Eastern Cincinnati challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Walnut Hills won 51-31 in their recent league challenge against Little Miami (Morrow, OH)
Next up, the Rockets confront the Kings Knights (Kings Mill, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 9. Archbishop McNicholas will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 60-59 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, OH).
