New York High School Basketball - Hamburg overwhelmed by Bishop Ludden
January 7, 2023: Hamburg, NY 14075 The Hamburg Bulldogs basketball team (Hamburg, NY), was overwhelmed 62-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights (Syracuse, NY)
The Gaelic Knights now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cazenovia for a Section 3 Liberty battle on Monday, January 9. Bishop Ludden will confront a Lakers team coming off a 32-25 non-league win over Lafayette (LaFayette, NY). The Lakers record now stands at 3-3.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sweet Home (Amherst, NY). The Panthers come into the Section 6 Erie County II battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Sweet Home was overwhelmed by Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY), 76-70, in a league battle.
