Illinois High School Basketball - Buffalo Grove can't hold off Providence Catholic
January 7, 2023: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Providence Catholic Celtics basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Buffalo Grove Bison to 43 in the Celtics non-league victory on Saturday.
The Celtics now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joliet West for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Providence Catholic will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-49 league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.
The Bison (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights come into the Mid-Suburban - East contest with a 14-5 record.
