January 7, 2023: Cary, IL 60013 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) and the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), saw Conant's basketball squad overcome Cary-Grove by a tally of 45-36.
With the victory, Conant improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to confront the Corsairs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Corsairs come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Carmel won 57-40 in their recent league challenge against Marist (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Cary-Grove will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 43-38 non-league loss to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
