Kentucky High School Basketball - Rockcastle County knocked off by Conner
January 7, 2023: Mt. Vernon, KY 40456 The Conner Cougars basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Rockcastle County Rockets to 49 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Simon Kenton for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Conner will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 45-42 league loss to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-5.
The Rockets (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record.
