Corry Beavers (Corry, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Iroquois Braves (Erie, PA), 49-11 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corry upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Beavers travel to Oil City (Oil City, PA) to clash with the Oilers in a District 10 Region 5 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Oilers enter the game with a record of 5-4. Oil City won 40-37 in their recent non-league game against Cranberry Area (Seneca, PA)

With the defeat, Iroquois moves to 3-5 on the year. The Braves host Seneca (Erie, PA) to face the Bobcats in a non-league game on Monday, January 9. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 2-3. Seneca won 57-12 in their recent non-league game against Girard (Girard, PA)
