Oklahoma High School Basketball - Covington-Douglas thwarts Wichita HomeSchool
January 7, 2023: Covington, OK 73730 The Covington-Douglas Wildcats (Covington, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Wichita HomeSchool Warriors (Wichita, KS), 52-42 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK). The Mustangs go into the Skeltur test with a 1-0 record.
The Warriors now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sunrise Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Wichita HomeSchool will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Perry (Perry, OK). The Buffaloes record now stands at 7-5.
