Washington High School Basketball - Olympia crushes Curtis
January 7, 2023: Olympia, WA 98501 Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA), 76-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Olympia upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Bethel (Spanaway, WA) to play the Bison in a 4A South Puget Sound - South bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Bethel won 47-34 in their recent league bout against Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA)
Next up, the Vikings play the South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound - North bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Curtis will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 71-27 league loss to Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA).
