January 7, 2023: Custer, SD 57730 The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers basketball team (Platte, SD), was nudged 38-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD)
The Wildcats now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host More for a A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Custer will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 61-35 non-league win over Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-2.
The Black Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Corsica/Stickney was nudged by Wagner (Wagner, SD), 67-33, in a non-league contest.
