The Glenbrook North Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting De La Salle Meteors to 31 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles West for a Central Suburban - South contest on Friday, January 13.

The Meteors (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Celtics come into the Girls Catholic - White contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Providence Catholic prevailed over Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 61-36, in a non-league contest.
