Minnesota High School Basketball - Delano fells New Ulm
January 7, 2023: New Ulm, MN 56073 Delano Tigers (Delano, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN), 65-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Delano upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Tigers host Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Belle Plaine lost 50-40 in their recent non-league bout against Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN) in a AA Section 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. New Ulm will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 74-41 non-league loss to St. Peter (St. Peter, MN).
