California High School Basketball - Eastside College Prep nips Summit Denali
January 7, 2023: East Palo Alto, CA 94303 Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Summit Denali Grizzlies (Sunnyvale, CA), 2-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eastside College Prep upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA) to play the Gators in a West Bay - Skyline bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Sacred Heart Prep won 54-44 in their recent non-league bout against Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA)
Next up, the Grizzlies play the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Summit Denali will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 59-14 non-league win over Gunderson (San Jose, CA).
