Missouri High School Basketball - Eugene can't hold off Holden
January 7, 2023: Eugene, MO 65032 The Holden Eagles basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host Eugene Eagles to 31 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington for a Missouri River Valley - East contest on Monday, January 9. Holden will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 57-31 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MO). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-7.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Crocker (Crocker, MO). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Crocker edged Conway (Conway, MO), 54-38, in a non-league contest.
