Illinois High School Basketball - Farmington trounced by Tremont
January 7, 2023: Farmington, IL 61531 The Tremont Turks routed the host Farmington Farmers basketball team by a final score of 70-42 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
With the victory, Tremont upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Turks travel to Midwest Central/Delavan (Manito, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Midwest Central/Delavan won 61-57 in their recent league challenge against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL)
Next up, the Farmers play the Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) in a Prairieland challenge, on Monday, January 9. Farmington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 57-47 non-league win over Stark County (Toulon, IL).
