The San Joaquin Memorial Panthers (Fresno, CA) basketball crushed the host Garces Memorial Rams (Bakersfield, CA), 74-33 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Edison (Fresno, CA). The Tigers go into the County/Metro test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Edison walloped Kerman (Kerman, CA), 35-27, in a non-league test.

The Rams now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a South Yosemite - River test on Tuesday, January 10. Garces Memorial will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 57-38 non-league win over Mission Oak (Tulare, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-7.
