Georgia High School Basketball - Millington Central holds off Greenforest
January 7, 2023: Decatur, GA 30034 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN) and the host Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA), saw Millington Central's basketball squad hold off Greenforest by a tally of 45-43.
With the victory, Millington Central improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Downey Christian (Orlando, FL) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 8. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Downey Christian won 61-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA) in a A D2 Region 7B challenge, on Friday, January 13. Greenforest will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
