Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) and the host Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA), saw Valencia's basketball squad hold off Hillcrest by a tally of 47-42.

With the victory, Valencia improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Hart (Newhall, CA) to confront the Indians in a Foothill challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 17-2. Hart won 51-48 in their recent league challenge against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA)
