North Dakota High School Basketball - New Salem can't hold off Killdeer
January 7, 2023: New Salem, ND 58563 The Killdeer Cowboys basketball team scored 46 points and held the host New Salem Holsteins to 41 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cowboys now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hettinger/Scranton for a B Region 7 contest on Monday, January 9. Killdeer will battle a Black Devils team coming off a 45-37 league loss to Trinity (Dickinson, ND). The Black Devils record now stands at 1-2.
The Holsteins (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND). The Skyhawks enter the B Region 5 contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Shiloh Christian nudged Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD), 85-79, in a non-league contest.
