Oregon High School Basketball - Madras topped by La Grande
January 7, 2023: La Grande, OR 97850 The La Grande Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Madras White Buffaloes to 41 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baker for a 4A Greater Oregon contest on Tuesday, January 10. La Grande will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-44 non-league win over Crook County (Prineville, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-1.
The White Buffaloes (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Sweet Home was defeated by Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR), 48-18, in a non-league contest.
