Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Plateau Valley Cowboys (Collbran, CO) and the visiting North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO), saw Plateau Valley's basketball squad hold off North Park by a tally of 49-48.

With the victory, Plateau Valley improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Rangely (Rangely, CO) to confront the Panthers in a 2A/1A Western Slope challenge on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Rangely won 52-31 in their recent league challenge against Soroco (Oak Creek, CO)
