January 7, 2023: Austin, TX 78729 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX) and the visiting Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX), saw McNeil's soccer squad knock off Chaparral by a margin of 3-0.
The Mavericks now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Rockwall for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. McNeil will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Chaparral drops to 0-3 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-4. Lago Vista lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against University (Waco, TX)
