Massachusetts High School Basketball - Abington triumphant over Mashpee
January 7, 2025: Abington, MA 02351 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Abington Green Wave (Abington, MA) and the visiting Mashpee Falcons (Mashpee, MA), observed Abington's basketball team overwhelm Mashpee by a score of 87-53.
The Green Wave (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against New Bedford (New Bedford, MA). The Whalers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, New Bedford was routed by Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA), 63-59, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Carver Crusaders (Carver, MA) in a South Shore challenge, on Friday, January 10. Mashpee will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
