January 7, 2025: Kinston, NC 28504 In Tuesday's league test, the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC), by a final score of 91-36.
Next, the Knights clash with the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain test, on Friday, January 10. Greenfield will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Hurricanes come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 59-43 league loss to Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC).
The Patriots (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC). The Heat come into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Liberty Christian Academy bounced Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC), 52-47, in a non-league test.
