January 7, 2025: Azle, TX 76020 The Azle Christian Fighting Crusaders basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Garner Longhorns to 51 in the Fighting Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Fighting Crusaders now possess a 16-4 record. They play next when they host Community Christian for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Azle Christian will confront a Warriors team coming off a 41-25 non-league win over Stephenville FAITH (Stephenville, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Garner falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Throckmorton (Throckmorton, TX) to confront the Greyhounds in a 1A Region III District 17 game on Friday, January 10. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 1-8. Throckmorton lost 55-21 in their recent non-league game against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Granbury, TX)
