Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA), 79-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bakersfield upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Drillers travel to Highland (Bakersfield, CA) to face the Scots in a South Yosemite - Valley match on Thursday, January 9. The Scots enter the match with a record of 5-7. Highland won 72-30 in their recent non-league match against Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA)

The Tigers now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Joaquin Memorial for a non-league match on Friday, January 10. Edison will face a Panthers squad coming off a 65-51 non-league win over Hanford (Hanford, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.
