The Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) basketball crushed the host Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), 72-50 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 7-18 record. They play next when they host Paradise for a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 10. Boyd will play a Panthers team coming off a 47-24 league win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Valley View falls to 10-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 10. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 18-7. Whitesboro won 61-49 in their recent non-league bout against Leonard (Leonard, TX)
