Wisconsin High School Basketball - Brookfield Academy holds off South Milwaukee
January 7, 2025: Brookfield, WI 53045 The Brookfield Academy Blue Knights basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting South Milwaukee Rockets to 59 in the Blue Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Blue Knights now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Luther Prep for a Midwest Classic game on Thursday, January 9. Brookfield Academy will confront a Phoenix team coming off a 71-62 non-league loss to Winnebago Lutheran Academy (Fond du Lac, WI). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, South Milwaukee falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Whitnall (Greenfield, WI) to confront the Falcons in a Woodland - East game on Friday, January 10. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 6-6. Whitnall won 65-51 in their recent non-league game against St. Thomas More (Milwaukee, WI)
