Next, the Cougars encounter the Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 2 test, on Thursday, January 9. Simpson Academy will attempt to improve on its 13-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 12-5 record after their 68-53 league win over Lamar (Meridian, MS).
