Michigan High School Basketball - Three Rivers can't hold off Gull Lake
January 7, 2025: Three Rivers, MI 49093 Gull Lake Blue Devils (Richland, MI) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Three Rivers Wildcats (Three Rivers, MI), 44-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gull Lake advances its record to 3-6 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI) to face the Maroon Giants in a Southwestern Michigan - East match on Thursday, January 9. The Maroon Giants enter the match with a record of 6-1. Kalamazoo Central lost 48-38 in their recent non-league match against King (Detroit, MI)
The Wildcats now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paw Paw for a Wolverine B match on Friday, January 10. Three Rivers will face a Red Wolves squad coming off a 51-42 league win over Sturgis (Sturgis, MI). The Red Wolves record now stands at 7-1.
