Texas High School Basketball - Lorenzo victorious over Sudan
January 7, 2025: Lorenzo, TX 79343 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Lorenzo Hornets basketball team scored a good 78-58 triumph over the Sudan Hornets.
The Hornets (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Petersburg (Petersburg, TX). The Buffaloes go into the 1A Region I District 7 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Petersburg was topped by Haskell (Haskell, TX), 58-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Bovina Mustangs (Bovina, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 contest, on Friday, January 10. Sudan will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 95-39 non-league loss to Tulia (Tulia, TX).
