Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnewaska Area victorious over Paynesville
January 7, 2025: Paynesville, MN 56362 In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers basketball team scored a good 71-60 triumph over the Paynesville Bulldogs.
The Lakers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Central Area (Barrett, MN). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, West Central Area topped Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (Twin Valley, MN), 69-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Paynesville will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Cubs go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 94-52 league win over Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN).
