New York High School Basketball - University Prep Charter knocks off Monroe
January 7, 2025: Bronx, NY 10455 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host University Prep Charter Gator basketball team scored a good 72-59 win over the Monroe Red Jackets.
The Gator (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY). The Kings come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Bishop Kearney was topped by Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY), 85-75, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Jackets battle the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Monroe will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Little Irish come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 85-75 league win over Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY).
