Oregon High School Basketball - Western Christian victorious over Oakland
January 7, 2025: Oakland, OR 97462 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Western Christian Pioneers basketball team scored a good 62-54 triumph over the Oakland Oakers.
The Pioneers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Colton (Colton, OR). The Vikings go into the 2A Tri-River contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Colton was topped by Clatskanie (Clatskanie, OR), 49-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Oakers battle the Pleasant Hill Billies (Pleasant Hill, OR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Oakland will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Billies go into the contest with a 12-2 record after their 63-44 non-league win over Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR).
