With the victory, Gallup advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bengals travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 3-1. Belen lost 44-41 in their recent non-league battle against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
The Spartans now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Bernalillo will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.
