Illinois High School Basketball - Rosary sneaks past Aurora Christian
January 7, 2025: Aurora, IL 60506 The Rosary Royals (Aurora, IL) basketball edged the host Aurora Christian Eagles (Aurora, IL), 36-33 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Royals now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Illinois Math & Science Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. Rosary will play a Titans team coming off a 62-20 league loss to Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL). The Titans record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Aurora Christian falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Edward (Elgin, IL) to play the Green Wave in a Chicagoland Christian bout on Thursday, January 9. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 13-5. St. Edward won 60-34 in their recent non-league bout against Westmont (Westmont, IL)
