New York High School Basketball - Greeley sneaks past Brewster
January 7, 2025: Chappaqua, NY 10514 The Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY) basketball edged the visiting Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY), 53-51 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Quakers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. Greeley will play a Knights team coming off a 77-39 non-league loss to Albany (Albany, NY). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Brewster falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Mahopac (Mahopac, NY) to play the Indians in a Section 1 Conference 1A bout on Monday, January 13. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Mahopac lost 64-33 in their recent non-league bout against Walter Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY)
