January 7, 2025: Gibraltar, MI 48173 Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI), 44-20 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Carlson advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Marauders host Taylor (Taylor, MI) to face the Griffins in a Downriver match on Thursday, January 9. The Griffins enter the match with a record of 2-3.
The Chargers now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lutheran Northwest for a Michigan Independent - Blue match on Thursday, January 9. Inter-City Baptist will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 50-33 non-league win over University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-3.
