The Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), 61-23 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Coginchaug Regional for a Shoreline bout on Friday, January 10. Cromwell will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 58-27 league win over Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Westbrook falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Knights host East Hampton (East Hampton, CT) to play the Bellringers in a Shoreline bout on Thursday, January 9. The Bellringers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. East Hampton won 46-21 in their recent league bout against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT)
