The Delaware Christian Eagles basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Mt. Gilead Indians to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Temple Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Delaware Christian will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 49-17 non-league loss to Christian Community (North Eaton, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Mt. Gilead falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Danville (Danville, OH) to confront the Blue Devils in a Knox Morrow game on Wednesday, January 8.
