January 7, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70879 Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), 56-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Dutchtown advances its record to 7-11 on the year. The Griffins travel to French Settlement (French Settlement, LA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Lions enter the match with a record of 14-6. French Settlement lost 51-39 in their recent non-league match against Doyle (Livingston, LA)
The Warriors now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glen Oaks for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. St. Michael will face a Panthers squad coming off a 41-29 non-league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-8.
