Louisiana High School Basketball - Family Christian nips Port Allen
January 7, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70810 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Family Christian Flames basketball team scored a close 46-40 triumph over the Port Allen Pelicans.
The Flames (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph's - Plaucheville was tipped by Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 41-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pelicans battle the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Port Allen will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 6-11 record after their 60-35 non-league win over Marksville (Marksville, LA).
