The Fosston Greyhounds basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds to 57 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now have a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Bagley for a A Section 8 game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Mahnomen/Waubun falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Sacred Heart (East Grand Forks, MN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 7-3.
