Michigan High School Basketball - Hackett Catholic Prep overwhelms Martin
January 7, 2025: Kalamazoo, MI 49008 The Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Martin Clippers to 29 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Fighting Irish now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Lake for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Hackett Catholic Prep will confront a Lakers team coming off a 49-26 league win over Brethren (Brethren, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Martin falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Clippers host Kellogg (Delton, MI) to confront the Panthers in a Southwestern - Central game on Friday, January 10. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 1-6. Kellogg lost 42-20 in their recent non-league game against Constantine (Constantine, MI)
